LAKE COUNTY EMT TRAINING 2010
Lake County will be hosting an Emergency Medical Technician-B (EMT– B) class starting on September 7, 2010 at 6:00pm.
All of the classroom portions will be held in the basement of the Public Safety Building. Classes will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and on Saturdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm with an hour lunch break.
Resources from Lake County’s medical community will be utilized to prepare students for the National Written and Practical Exams that will be held in early December.
Registration information will be provided in the near future.
Priorities for student population will go first to Lake County Emergency Responders and then to the local public people that are interested. Current EMT personnel will be able to utilize this training for recertification hours.
Cost for the course is free to all current and potential Lake County Emergency Responders. Books and final examination costs will be the responsibility of the student or their organization.
